VEGETABLE IDLY




Ingredients:

Suji (semolina) 1 cup
Sour curd 1cup
Salt 3/4tsp

carrot 1 grated
beans 5 finely chopped
green chillies 2 finely chopped
Fruit salt(eno) 1 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Water ½ cup

for tempering:
til 1 tsp
oil 1tbsp
mustered seeds 1tsp

Method:

Mix suji, curd, salt and water. Mix well till it gets smooth. Keep aside for 10 mins. Add chhoped vegetables.
Take an idly mould and grease it with oil.
Add eno to batter and mix well carefully, not appling too much pressure.
Pour 1tbsp of batter in each cup of mould and steam it. Can steam in abig deep pan filled with 1” water. Cover the pan with a lid.steam for 15 mins.
If you are steaming in a microwave steam it for 4-5 mins.
Let it cool a bit and then remove idlies with the help of a knife.

Heat oil in a pan , put rai(mustered) when it crackles add til stir for 5 sec. add idlies and stir fry for 2 mins. 

Serve hot.
