
PANEER WITH SPRING ONIONS
Ingredients:
250 gms Paneer cut into pieces
200 gms spring onion bulb cut into rings and greens into ½ inchpieces
4 tbsp vegetable cooking oil
2 tomatoes chopped fine
2 tomatoes pureed
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 cloves crushed
1 green chilli chopped
6-8 flakes garlic crushed
2 tsps coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Milk ¼ cup warm or 4 tbsp of cream
Method:
Cut onions . Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan add garli and saute for 1 min.
Add white of the onion, stir-fry till light golden.Add ¼ tsp haldi. Stir for 1 min.
Add chopped tomatoes and puree, stir fry for 5 mins, till they are almost dry.add ketchup, mix well.
Add cloves and cook for ½ min. reduce heat.Add coriander, salt, red chilli powder and garam masala. Cook for 2 mins.Add ¼ cup water. Boil.
Add the paneer cubes, greens of onions and chopped chilli. Cook for2 mins on low flame.
