
Soft bread dahi vadas soked in yogurt. Impossible to believe they are made from simpleslice of white bread. Make them at least ½ an hour in advance. Zero oil reciepe. it is just too good to belive.
Ingredients:
Bread slice 6
Boiled and mashed potatoes 1 big2-3 green chilies 2 cups Curds well beaten
1 tsp powdered sugar( optional)
Salt to taste
fresh roasted & powdered cumin powder 2 tsp
red chili powder ½ tsp
black salt ¼ tsp
green chillies 2 deseded and chopped finely
tamarind chutney 2 tbsp
ginger juliennes 2 tsp
chopped coriander leaves 1tbsp
Method:
Whip curd, cumin powder black salt, red chilli powder, sugar, salt. Keep aside.
Cut small rounds from bread slices.
Add a pinch of salt to mashed potatoes.
Prepare a very thin cutlet of the same size of bread slice.
Dip this cutlet in curd mix and place it on one bread roundel. on this cutlet place another bread roundel.
Now spread 4 tbsp curd mix on a shallow dish.
Arrange the potatoes and bread sandwiches on it.
Mow put some ginger juliennes on it and on top of it pour the curd mix othem to cover them , make sure the sandwiches are soaked with curd mix. pour tamarind chutney on them and garnish them with green coriander and chutney. Keep in fridge for atleast for ½ an hour before serving.
Serve chilled.
