SINGHARE KE AATTE KI PURI


This special puri or fried Indian bread is made especially during the Janmashtami and Navratri celebrations. Many Indian fasts require the use of special flours, fruits, and spices. Many commonly used cooking ingredients are not allowed during certain fasts. Singhare ka atta or Waterchestnut flour is usually a "vrat" or fasting item.



Ingredients:
Singhare ka atta 250 gms
Potatoes 2 boiled and grated
Sendha namak 1tsp
Green chillies 1 finely chopped
Green coriandar 1tbsp

Method:
Mix all the ingredients and make a tight dough. Devide it into 8 and roll them like puries with rolling pin.
Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the puries.
Serve hot.
