
MEETHI ROTI
Ingredients:
Wheat flour 1 cup
Moti saunf (aniseed) ½ tsp crushed
Choti ilaichi powder ¼ tsp
Sugar 1/3 cup
Water ½ cup
Ghee or oil for shallow fry
Method:
Dissolve sugar in water. Kneed a soft dough of wheat flour and thin sugar syrup. Make small balls of it and roll them like chapatti. Do not reshape after applying some ghee in the center as this roti becomes very hard.
Heat a gridle, shallow fry these chapaties on medium- high flame .
MISSI ROTI
Ingredients:
Wheat flour 1 cup
Besan 1½ tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Green chillies 2 finely chopped
Water to make a dough
Oil to shallow fry
Method:
Mix flour, besan, chillies and salt. Make chapatti like dough with water. Make small balls of this and roll like small chapatti. Apply some oil in the center and reshape it in to a ball and then roll it again like chapatti. Heat a gridle, shallow fry these chapaties on medium- high flame.
