
Ingredients:
Potatoes 4 large pealed and cut in to pieces
Green Chillies 2 slit length wise
Asfoetida (heeng) a pinch
Fenugreek seeds( methi) ½ tsp
Rai ½ tsp
Kalaunji (onion seeds) ½ tsp
Moti saunf (aniseeds) ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
coriander powder 1 tsp
Green coriander for garnishing
Dry mango powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Oil 2tbsp
Method:
Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Add heeng, methi, rai, kalaunji and saunf. Stir for 30 secs. Add washed and cut potato pieces. Add green chillies, salt, turmeric powder. Chilli powder, and all the spices leaving dry mango powder. Mix well and cook covered till the potatoes are soft and nicely cooked.
Add mango powder, mix again now add Green coriander. Serve.
